While FUT Trading and Investing is a tool for enjoying the game even more, the majority of people purchase FIFA for the gameplay side of things.

The last couple of years has been disappointing for many, to say it at least. Unrewarding gameplay, bugs and errors are just a row of reasons why many people feel unsatisfied.

But. Could FIFA 21 be the game that breaks the pattern? Let’s look at the 5 New Gameplay features for FIFA 21 (read EA’s article here):

1. Agile Dribbling
   ‘A new Agile Dribbling system gives you the means to unleash your creativity in 1-on-1 situations. Use fast footwork, more responsive close control, and new skill moves like the ball roll fake to explode past defenders.’ – EA sports.
2. Positioning Personality

3. Creative Runs
   ‘Get more control over your attackers’ movement with more ways to break down the defence in build-up play:
   DIRECTED RUNSFlick the right stick after triggering a run to take full control over the direction of the runs your teammates makeDIRECTED PASS AND GO
   Flick the right stick to decide where your teammate makes their run after a pass

4. Natural Collison system

5. Fundamentals of Football

   A more perceptive understanding of space and opposition positioning allows players to play a more intelligent passing game in FIFA 21BLOCKING

I wish we’re able to feel these differences in-game!
In my opinion, all of this sounds great. FIFA 21 gameplay has a lot of potential in my eyes. Now it’s up to the developers at EA to make the gameplay as good as we ideally want it to be.
